Kelli Joy Spirit Lives On this special day bringing Holiday Gifts to Maryville Children
Saturday, December 17th, 2022. Kelli Joy and Brenda loved bringing gifts to underprivileged children during the Christmas Holiday so they would be able to open a present just like she did during Christmas.
This year and for the past 10 years the KJO Foundation has partnered with Maryville Academy to bring Joy to the children of Maryville. We request a list of children and items they would like for Christmas. There were over 200 children that received presents this year! Due to Covid restrictions, we did not have the opportunity to visit with the children again this year. Instead, we dropped all the presents off at their Des Plains facility shown above and below.
A special thank you to Mary Buddig and her Angels and to all our elves who drove their sleighs to Maryville to help deliver the presents MaryEllen Young, John O’Laughlin, Amy Jo Wittenberg, Terry Schillaci LeFevour, Jim McCarthy, Carol Trueman Marston and Peter Hayes for bringing “JOY” to the children at Maryville today.
Pictured Left Brenda and John O’Laughlin surprise Sister Cathy Ryan, Executive Director of Maryville Academy with an additional $1800 in gift cards to provide any items needed for the children of Maryville Academy! We are so blessed to be able to support this wonderful institution!
This truly brought so much “JOY” to my heart today knowing the children at Maryville will be smiling with “JOY” on Christmas Day!
