This the seventh annual Brewmoon beer and band festival presented by Palmer Place and the Max Athletic & Exposition Center, sponsored and led by Mayor Jeff Tobolski and Steve Palmer.  The Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of La Grange and the West Suburban Chamber of commerce all lend their members to make this a great event. Brewmoon selects two local charities and the proceeds for the event is split between them.  This year, the Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Memorial Foundation was one of the recipients!

Not only was this a great event raising funds for two wonderful charities, we also took a moment to sing happy birthday to Kelli (her 21st year) on stage with Sixteen Candles, the evening entertainment.  See below for a video of Brenda and John on stage with Steve Palmer leading the signing!

Here are 50 seconds of fun, thanks again to Sixteen Candles for “helping” us.

Brewmoon this year had over 75 different breweries pouring more than 150 beers in small sample sizes.  This event more than equals in the number of breweries and beers poured during of the Oak Park Micro Brewery event in August.

We are very grateful for this experience of working through and with the community to bring everyone together enjoy ourselves and raise money for two great foundations!  In the end, both charities had a great time and our foundation received a check for $11,800.
