The Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Memorial Foundation presented new uniforms to the Lyons Township girls Tennis team on Friday September 15.   All three teams, varsity, JV1, and JV2 all received new uniforms at this event.

Some of these pictures are from Friday the 15th, and some are from the following day when the girls had a home match and their first chance to wear their new uniforms.

The coaches and the O’Laughlin’s agreed that due to the short length of the tennis season, the uniforms would be given to the team and then later after the season, embroidered with LTHS and Kelli’s initials.

Coach Wham asked the team to “wear them with pride and play hard in them”.

Mrs O’ made a small speech before the uniforms were handed out and “We wanted the team to look cohesive and the uniforms will help them feel part of a bigger team.”

Here’s a link to an article in the Western Springs Patch, that also covered the event.
